I imagine IGE is attempting to corner the market on in game purchases and may have offered eq2interface a nice "reward" for customer referals.
I never understood those banners anyways, I'll usually don't go through them to navigate to a site and if I ever do click on them it's to play those shootem games real quick.
I say we all click on the banner every visit just to help ol eq2interface out.
