I do see a lot of problems with the current economy that will only get worse over time.

Keep in mind, SOE made A TON of changes to things that vastly impact economic curves since release. They can always make more. I'm almost 100% certain that they keep an eye on economic distribution statistics and have several meetings every week about them. Economic indicators are to artisan class balance and viability what DPS parsing are to adventure class balance and viability. Any indicators of huge future problems will see changes by the devs.

I have mixed feelings about global attunement of tradeble weapons and armor. It feels like a stopgap with future changes coming (such as the ones mentioned above). It succeeds in allowing a market for newly crafted items to continue to exist, but it's pretty hackish.

I don't know. With all the changes that SOE makes on a consistent basis, both good and bad, it's hard for me to make any guesses about the future.

I am upset about the dumbing down of outdoor zones. Soloing is all well and good, but I have absolutely no fear at all running through Thundering Steppes and Nek forest at level 18 now. That's just wrong.
