Well I deleted the duplicate xml file and removed the UI\eq2map folder and the eq2.ini file in the Everquest II folder and the updater did rebuild all the directories, xml and dds files as per the installation instructions game still runs fine, and the updater patches and still no map. Ahh well, weird stuff eh? Anyhow nevermind I guess I'll have to memorize the zones

The maps look really cool though. All I can sey is keep up the great work.
Mabye if SONY puts such a feature in in by default

it would save people like me some difficulty installing such a useful utility. Kudos for such a brilliant idea and your dedication implementing it. *cries pitifully*
