I'd suggest deleting your EQ2MAP folder on the offending machine then re-running the updater. Most likely there's some bad XML screwing things up. If that DOESN'T fix it, we'll need more information like if you're using other UI mods, what your eq2.ini file says, and the name of your custom UI folder.
