Not to be difficult, it's just that all of us here requesting for modifications don't know how / where to add stuff without the .xml files breaking EQ2.

Ugh, sorry. Don't have a screenshot handy. Basically it's a 10x10 close button set 1 pixel in and 1 down from the group window frame. In terms of placement within the XML, I mostly posted it to make Perdition's life easier.
While you could insert it into your eq2ui_mainhud_groupmembers.xml yourself (immediately under the PAGE declaratory for the first MemberInfoPage) you'd have to tweak the size and location to match Perdition's work. If you're comfortable doing that, by all means, go for it.
