You must go to the UI folder and create a new folder within that. Name it MyMods or something easy. Unzip the download to that folder.
Go back to the EQ2 main folder. Make a copy of
eq2_recent.ini and rename it to just
eq2.ini. Open it up with Notepad, delete everything, and paste in the following:
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname MyMods
ics_maxcameradistance 10.0
(The last line is optional, but you really do want it.
)
Load EQ2, and you should have the maps installed.
