POImap problem
 

Good morning,
I installed this UI yesterday at the suggestion of just about everyone in the 10-19 chat channel. I asked in that channel what UI people were using because I wanted something better than the default.

Wow! I absolutely love the look and feel of it. I also installed the POImap per their suggestions. I must have done something wrong. Since it took me cutting the ProfitUI folder 3 times and moving it to a different location it's not too surprising that I messed something up. :confused:

"M" pulls up the map, but there aren't any dots on it at all. I have the zones, etc., but no dots. As a newbie with absolutely no innate sense of direction either in RL or ingame, I seriously need those dots. :o

Any chance someone can tell me how to fix the map without messing up my Profit UI? I would be happy to delete both of those directories and do a clean install of them, but I'm afraid I will just get the same result unless I get a little help on where to put them. I read the installation instructions very carefully and finally got the Profit UI installed correctly, it's the map that I've gotten messed up. To be completely honest, the POImap's installation instructions are a bit fuzzy.

Also, this is kinda nitpicky, and I apologize but I gotta ask anyway. I'm getting a little older, and my eyesight seems to be fading just a bit. Is there a way to make the bags show up a little bigger? I love the interface, it's just a little difficult to see the items in the bags because they are so small. I'm referring to the bags that are in the inventory and bank windows. It's not the bags themselves that I need bigger, it's the items within those bags. I want to keep the look and feel of this UI and am hoping that there is some type of add-on that will make the items appear larger. I'll need help installing any type of add-on's though because I'm UI stoopid.

did you download and install the auto updater for eq2maps? when you install profit, all the files for eq2maps are not there, you have to run the updater at least once (and preferable everyday before you enter the game)

When you run the Map Updater program make sure it says the target folder is your UI folder (Fetishnightfall).

The inventory icons for the bags are very easily re-sized. Simply right-click the bag and go into bag options. Move the slider on the icon size until you reach the size desired and then apply! :nana:

Lilbug, that worked, thank you! I didn't know inventory could be resized that way, that makes is SO much better. Now I can sit back and enjoy this UI. I also deleted both UI's and re-installed. I don't know if the POI thingy installed or not, but I do have the eq2map with all the dots that I need, so it's all good.
