Help. I can't get the UI to work at all.....
 

Tried this on an alt.

I have followed the instructions, deleted and started over several times. I cannot get this UI to work. The screen looks Exactly like the default and nothing like the screenshots posted.

I even found my alts eq2ui file and deleted it, as suggested, and never got the option to load profit; just other character's ui which is default. I tried /loadui and selected Profit. Still the same result. Am I missing something completely here?

Any help would be appreciated.

An alt's eq2ui file (which, I am assuming, yo are referring to a <CHARACTER>_<SERVER>_eq2_uisettings.ini file) has no bearing on the ability to use a custom UI. The main purpose for that file is to retain the positions (and other settings, such as opacity/transparency) of the various windows in the UI.

I'm guessing you are missing the required eq2.ini file that should be in your root EQ2 directory (Instructions).

Make sure your unzip program restores the folder structure from the .zip. People using Window XP's default extractor report problems with that.
