since this is the chit chat thread and I hate eq2 forums I am posting this here =) seems more people look at these anyway

I was browsing eq2idb.com for limited pet items and came across this link, I immediately did a search of everything eq2 and have yet to find anything about it... so without further a due I bring you the link

has anyone heard of a new mount or a hidden mount that we do not know about??? I mean I would love to be running through norrath on a tiger mount...:eek::eek::D:D

That is most likely the cat mount that the Devs have showed on the beta or test server over a year ago. It was never in finished (either the model, animation, scaling, or something else) and hasn't been mentioned since then. If you search the eq2 forums you'll probably find some posts about it.

Players have screenshots of it but they can't be posted without breaking the NDA so those pictures are deleted from the eq2 forums.

Don't see any listings on eq2.wikia or eq2.allakhazam. It may just be an item in the game database, but not on a loot table.
Or maybe it is, and it's just very unknown as of now ;)

The developers and GMs only have access to this item. I've never seen it myself though. It was the cat mount that was suppose to be added with DoF, but for some unexplained reason they never did.

ahh that makes sense why there is nothing about it... ty both =))
