No New Files
Update Done

Most likely a firewall or server error.

I got the same problem, and yes... the center info window updates

Says also the the server send back a message

The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.

Can it be a parent control filter thats blocking the connection ??

It was working prior to 4 days ago. updated fine. only thing that changed was a patch from microsoft that SoE recommended to install for game virtual mem problems in Vista.

Whasts the server name or IP. i'll ping it and see

Not really, most firewalls will block small or unknown programs from accessing the internet. It will allow well known web browsers to connect just fine.

Basically the error you are receiving tells us the EQ2Map program cant access the internet. Hopefully either you or jnils will be able to figure it out, I'm unable help much in that area.

Srill no answer on this, any suggestions? i've turned off my firewall on the router and windows vista yet it still wont connect.


any particular port being used?

Normal HTTP port 80.
