InfoCenter = no info??
 

Is anyone else having a problem with the Info Center window since GU-40?

on both mine and my wife's pc the window appears but nothing is displayed inside it :(

installed latest profit update on mine manually and hers was done via autoupdater.

Yes, put me down for the same problem. Profit has mostly been working fine since GU 40 except for no faction on faction tab of Persona window and no info in the InfoCenter.

Ah, at least i know it's not just me then :)

Faction tab is fixed for me in latest download via autoupdater so give that a go.

My info center go boom as well. MAKE FIXY!:nana::nana::nana:

I also have nothing in my infocenter :(...but happily the persona window factions got fixed!

Well I know at least TreeMos has read the red line, so I'll exclude that as the reason. But maybe still try a clean install of the UI (rename your ProfitUI folder and then reinstall) because I could not identify any issues with the InfoCenter on my end.

Edit just to add: I will of course double check this once more after work tonight. ;)

Yup, Info center still borked. I will give ya some time to trouble shoot a bit then rename the ProfitUI and then reinstall as suggested. I did read the red line btw...:D

can't reproduce this, both the download and the updater versions work fine.

Yup.. it was perma goofed so I just renamed the old ProfitUI folder to "wowgm9reallybrokeit" :p:p:p and hit the auuto updater and all is wonderful again.

make a macro for /show_window Journals.InfoCenter -- works for me

i had the blank info center too and just did a clean install as stated and its all back now via the profit button :) ta for info :)

Quick fix -

Rename the eq2ui_journals_infocenter.xml file to something else. I was able to get the information to display after removing this file.

GM9, Both of my computers were dirty installs over the old versions. A delete and reinstall most likely would eliminate this problem and keep you from being able to recreate it if this file is no longer used or installed in the new version.

I think my fault was that in the release notes of 4.0/4.1 I only bolded that a number of files needed to be deleted and I highly recommended a clean install. I guess I'll do RED LINES from now on and train you to watch out for them. :p

Now all stand in a corner and feel bad about yourselves while I close this thread. :cool:
