Group window question about the cure(s)
 

Hello, I have read a few posts about the cure(s) being a problem for a few people

Now I am asking about the cure icons to the right of group member(s) in the group window, not the pre-configured macros |1|2|3|.

Why is it that some group members it does not allow me to cure them from the group window, the icon show up, but when I click the type of cure needed, nothing happens, I have to click their name and then the type of cure from my hot bars. It seems random, some days only 2 others I can cure, once I had all 6 of us that I could cure, it really gets to me when the MT is the one I cant cure (from the group window). If its the DPS, oh well I will get to them when I can. As a templar I hit the cures for everyone..

Is this a bug or intelligent design. (remember it’s a fine line between genius and mad, so us mere mortals get confused occasionally)

Btw I love this UI, clean, user friendly. Good job and please keep up the good work!!!!

This might be caused, if the char does use non ANSI / ASCII chars in his name.

Such names are incorrectly quoted by EQ2, so can't be used in Macros.

Try to install the classic version of group and raid window. these should still work.

What Calain said, but as you are on Unrest that is probably not your issue.

I can however not immediately think of any other reason, either. Is there any message in chat? There should be either something about "<....> could not be found" or something like that or "that spell or ability is no longer available". Maybe even something about you not having that item in your inventory. The more information I have the better.

Also I assume you have not removed, modified or replaced any windows from the ProfitUI set.

the UI is intact and unaltered, i have not noticed any error msg's in my chat windows, but i do have some chat options turned off. if it happens after this GU. i will look for any errors in a chat window with every option turned on and take a few screenshots so you can see the difference.

it worked just fine last nite, although i will make note about any issues in the future.

all i had to do was wait one day, and so far the problem resolved itself, with GU40..
