Installed Updates and Now EQ2 Crashes

Please Help EQ2 crashes now after I installed the ROK updates from the auto updater.

ditto.. guess we should have waited till the SOE updates. I would have thought Profit updates would be backwards compatible, if you are going to put them on the auto updater..

I did the same thing. The updater updated my UI even though my server, obviously, isnt GU 40.. How do I roll back?

Same here. It does not warn you before you patch.

whoops, sorry, was a bit too early on the upload button there. Run the updater again please to roll back to GU39 happyness. :)

thanks gm9:)

me too - a note saying that your UI won't work until GU40 is great, but after you've updated is just a tad late.

I renamed the ProfitUI folder and reinstalled from the v4.0 zips. That restored playability, but some things like the map are not functional. Its better than nothing, but the update certainly went live a bit on the early side.

Thank You GM9!!!

Delete the entire folder and run the auto-updater. Works like a charm.. And, give gm9 a break. He does a hell of a job w/ this UI.

Don't be sorry at all - I was hoping to find the updater so I could use it before logging tonight...Thanks!
