Post suggestions for LEVEL 80 raid/group buttons here

You know the drill by now, please post suggestions for macro buttons 1-5 for each subclass in this thread.

NEW: Please post the level of the spell. This is because I will make the buttons auto-detect your level so they work for both T7 and T8.

For level auto-detection please also refer to this FAQ entry that has been there a while: QuickRaidButtons - How to make them use the correct spell for your level.

Illusionist:

Synergism Upgrade- Tandem (75)

Semideus 11-12-2007 10:01 PM

Conjuror:

Button1: Scale of Essence (L73)
Button2: Magma Seed (L77)
Button3: Infernoshield (L76)
Button4: Assist Parent.Target
Button5: ??

I'll double check the spell names when live hits to make sure the names and levels are correct. I don't see any changes to these names between beta and now. For button 1, a tell parent.target would be recommended. I have mine do a emote and tell. For Button 5, Heart request? See Invisibility? Cure Arcane?, cure elemental (AA ability)?

KrafoogooEF 11-13-2007 02:12 PM

Necromancer:

Button1 - Darkness Heart (73)
Button2 - Filter Life (74)
Button3 - Revivication (48) - edited to add level - RTFM you doing level detect...sorry
Button4 - tell parent.target Shard please
Button5 - Vampirism (80) (since there is no precursor to this spell perhaps assist parent.target)

darkdragonfae 11-13-2007 02:20 PM

Necromancer:

Button 1: Darkness Heart (73)
Button 2: Filter Life (74)
Button 3: Revivication (48)
Button 4: Vampirism (80)
Button 5: Animist's Transference (aa ability so no level)

Solarax 11-13-2007 03:15 PM

as a necro that has used vampirism i can say after the nerf it is not worth casting so i would remove that one and combine the last 2 lists maybe

or have an optional one because it has a very situational use

Furies'

Fury

Button 1: Dire Salve (lvl 71, single target minor healing)
Button 2: Grand Elixir (lvl 73, single target healing)
Button 3: Dire Bloodflow (lvl 78, single target regeneration)
Button 4: Return to the Pack (lvl 72, single target healing)
Button 5: Primeval Awakening (lvl 50, single target resurrection with mana regeneration)

juz 11-28-2007 04:43 PM

Inquisitors

1 Ministration lv71 small heal
2 Arch Recovery lv73 big heal
3 Penance lv78 reactive heal
4 Radiance lv15 emeregency reactive
5 Conversion of the Soul lv50 Rez (without rez sickness)

Not a lot of other options, just the other combat rez or the group rez. Everything else Inquisitors have is group only and I rather have raidwide stuff.

juz 11-28-2007 05:05 PM

Dirge:

1 Gravitas lv80 healer short term buff
2 Speech of Sacrifice lv78 heal over time
3 ?
4 Elegy of Awakening lv58 group rez
5 Elegy at Death's Door lv44 single target rez

Any of these for that 3rd spot:

Confront Fear (dirge AA raid wide)
Magnetic Note (dirge AA might be raid wide, not sure)
Lend Shielding (bard AA raid wide)
Heart/Shard request

jdeborde 12-02-2007 04:29 PM

Templar

Button 1: Meliorate (lvl 71, single target minor healing)
Button 2: Arch Restoration (lvl 73, single target healing)
Button 3: Vital Intercession (lvl 78, single target reactive)
Button 4: Reverence (lvl 52, power consumed = health replenshed)
Button 5: Resurrect (lvl 50, full health rez w/o rez sickness)

Those would be my picks

Any word on when the level 80 raid buttons will go live? Thanks and thank you for the great work on this UI - it's awesome.

gm9 12-23-2007 12:15 PM

Everything until here should have been added now. Note that I kept the order the buttons were previously in. Also where AA abilities were posted as options I generally went with spells/abilities available for every player. Of course you can edit the file depending on your own AA setup.

If other classes want their buttons updated, they should post the spells. :p

I see in the updater that the macro buttons have been updated with a level detector. However, looking at my file list, _profitui_quickraidbuttons.txt has not changed since November. I checked to make sure that the file is not ignored (I modified a version for a lowbee toon, but saved it with a different extension -lowbee.txt) Did I miss something or somehow mess something up yet again??

Thanx!

This list is fine only I'd change button 5 to death ward instead of a rez. Proper name for it is Deathward

Honestly

1 - Ancient Shroud
2 - Dire Balm
3 - Sacrificial Restoration
4 - Deathward
5 - Vivication

If I need to have soul ward on the list I will more than likley be the one I am directly targeting... if not then I will swap to em. Soulward is more of an "oh crap I need a big ward and now" than deathward is.

Button 1 meliorate for Templars isnt working on the new quick buttons that went out on patch today

Dragonsveil 01-13-2008 09:16 AM

For T8 Wardens, just my setup

Sylvan Bloom 71 is Small Heal + Small HOT

Grand Florescence 73 is Large Heal + Small HOT

Photosynthesis 78 is HOT

Hierophantic Provenance 80 is Quick Cast HOT + Power over time, Stuns Caster can be cancelled early

Reincarnation 50 is In combat single target rezz + 30% health replenishment + heal over time + increase to all attributes + melee skills, DPS and atk speed buff + wolf illusion.

The last two don't make sense to me, group spells don't require a target, so why put them on those buttons? Currently we have Torpor and Bolster there, I'll leave those for the time being.

My current Inquisitor Macros at 80:

Code:

        <Page Name="Inquisitor">
                <Data Name="Button1" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Penance" Tooltip="Penance"/>
                <Data Name="Button2" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Ministration" Tooltip="Ministration"/>
                <Data Name="Button3" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Arch Recovery" Tooltip="Arch Recovery"/>
                <Data Name="Button4" Macro="cancel_spellcast
useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Redeem" Tooltip="Redeem"/>
                <Data Name="Button5" Macro="useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Conversion of the Soul
useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Reforming Soul
useabilityonplayer Parent.Target Revive" Tooltip="Rezz Player"/>
        </Page>

1. ST Reactive (78)
2. small heal (71)
3. big heal (73)
4. Death Prevent (80) (Might add Radiance (15) (emergency reactive) as a second spell to cast after Redeem)
5. All Singe target rezzes in a row from best to worst. The best rezz, that is up will be used. The only problem is, that you will alway be told "Already cast", as it tries to cast a second rezz after the first. I might need to add ?cancel_queue? to stop the macro from trying to cast the second rezz.

/cl will clear the queue - very handy for macros, along with /cancel_spellcast :)
