Click to cure not working?

I've read your post on updating the click to cure from the _ProfitUI_Cure.txt file that you specified above under coercer. Though at least for me it doesn't make any sense. What do I need to change that file to for it to work with a Fury? Help.....Anyone?

They are preconfigured for all subclasses already and use the single cure spells where generally available for that subclass. Unless you want to change that, there is nothing you need to edit. Sorry if that was unclear.

Right, though when I click the little buttons it says in my chat box, "That Spell or Ability is No Longer Available". How come it says that?

are you clicking the buttons or the cures? The cures work for any level, the buttons are only preconfigured for lvl70 toons.

The buttons that are to the right of the group window. My friend turned me onto this UI and said that I'm screwed unless I edit the file bc they r configured for lvl 70 toons. So how do I fix that?

Those are the QuickRaidButtons.

No, those r above them. The button cures USED to work until I had to update the UI.

  • I assume that your Fury is of a level where the cure you are trying to use is already available? Eg. Cure Arcance only becomes available at lvl28.
  • Are you on a non-English server, if yes which one?
  • Have you done a clean install of ProfitUI 4.x or have you kept any old files?
  • Which group window variant are you using?

PS: Made a new thread out of this since it is not really related to the changelog

Ok, I am a cl49 Fury. So i have all the abiltities. I play on CrushBone like the sig says. And its a 100% fresh install. As I said before the clickies worked b4 the update, after the update the whole UI went to **** so I deleted it and re-installed. And I'm using the vertical group window.

Please drop the attached file in your ProfitUI folder and then load the game. Please press Alt-U twice to toggle visibility of the player window on and off. Then press all of the cures on the player window. For each cure, a line like this will appear in your chat entry box:

Target: Abyss | Cure: Cure Trauma | SubclassReal: Fury | SubclassDetected: Fury

Please copy that line each time and post it here for all four cures. I suspect subclass detection is having problems for you but it really shouldn't...

If the file eq2ui_mainhud_experience.xml is removed/renamed in order to use your original experience bar, it seems to prevent subclass from being detected and the feature doesn't work.
I've heard that some do not like the exp bar and try to get rid of it. But removing the XML file will disable the click to cure functionality.

That's true, that's why I asked whether a clean install was done. A lot of functionality will break if you remove the XP window.

HUD.ProfitUI_SubclassDetector.Subclass.TraumaCure | SubclassReal: Parent.Parent.Parent._HUD.ProfitUI_SubclassDetector.SC.Text | SubclassDetected: Parent.Parent.Parent._HUD.ProfitUI_SubclassDetector.Subcla

and it just repeats itself, just to inform you, I did what u asked, it says that for each cure with the new file in my folder, I also did another COMPLETE re-install.

gm9 11-10-2007 12:11 AM

Thanks. Well if that happens with a complete install that means that

/show_window MainHUD.ProfitUI_SubclassDetector

does not get executed as it should. If you enter that line manually and then either mouse over your group window or toggle the visibility of your player window (Alt-U) then it should work.

The strange thing is that this should work automatically. Do you see the bottom bar or is that hidden as well?

vizone 11-10-2007 01:32 AM

Lol well, the bottom bar was there before I installed a new xp monitor, ur is just rly rly rly big :(. If thats the problem I can unistall it and use a compliant one with ur mod, if u hhave a list of selections that would be helpful though doubtful that you would. How do I manually enter what it was that you said? do iI need to if I use your xp monitor?
