Amount of Stackable items in bags and boxes

I was wondering if there is a way to change the color or the background of the number that shows how much of a certain item you have in a stack in your bag/box? I sometimes have a hard time seeing how much I have left in the stack, particularly with stacks of ashen roots since it is such a lightly colored icon.

Thank you for your help.

Agreed.. very hard to read some of them. If this can be fixed, it would be wonderful.

The problem is that I cannot add a shadow to the numbers, making them difficult to see due to low contrast caused by the new icons.

What I can do is increase the number in size and change the color. Not sure if there is a better color though. There are icons in all kinds of colors, meaning there will always be low contrast situations. If I fix the color for ashen roots, it will break it for other items. I'll take a look though. Maybe creating a custom font with fat bold letters could be a solution.

yeah I don't think there is much you can do but ask send a pm to rothgar explaining your situation. see if you can add shadows to that.

I think this is more a case for /feedback. If I was to send PMs to devs I'd annoy them with the long list of UI bugs I want fixed, after that important UI functionality to be added. This one here is way way down the list though.

And I don't send PMs to devs anyway. I they were to react to requests sent by PM rather than those sent via official channels like /bug and /feedback and even the bug and feedback request Rothgar started on here, then their producer should have a serious word with them, since they would not be doing their job right... at least that's my opinion. Same for me btw - send me a request via PM and I'll most likely ignore it.

Thank you gm9 for all your help with this issue. I believe that you have done a wonderful job with this UI.

Again thank you.
