Missing Detrimental Window

Love the UI, never had a problem... well, don't have a *problem* now, just an annoyance I can't figure out! :D

The new Detrimental Effects window isn't showing up for me. I'm using Fetish 9.2 (though I have yet to install the patch); I checked the MainHUD XML for the updated include, and it's there; checked for the Detrimental Effects XML file, and it's there; I tried typing in /show_window (etc), and even hid/unhid the Effects windows (which should affect both windows simultaneously)... but nothing seems to work.

I'm sure it's there, but for some reason I'm not seeing it. Any suggestions?

Edit: I logged a character in and died, and sure enough, there was the window with the rez effects icon. There's got to be a better way to make it visible by default, but I'm not familiar with the XML parameters for EQ2; what do I need to change to make the window frame and background visible by default (so I can move it, etc)?

Let me just guess that your server does not have GU39 yet... ;)

edit: disregard, see Othesus post below, I misread your edit.

I have LU39, and the latest fetish night UI, and i am having the same problem,
All the files i need are present, but i get an error message every time i log in
and every time i zone.
everything else seems to work fine, and it doesnt affect game play, like
it was said b4, it's just an annoyance.

Ok, i guess it pay's to read a little bit b4 i post
it says that you take your eq2ui_mainhud.xml and edit it... go to the bottom of the file and look for </Page> and then insert
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_detrimental_effects.xml</include> right above it, and then save the file.
DuH..... sorry for the post guy's.

Or just use the updated file from the current release of Fetish. This is easy to miss for those that only update per file, such as myself, as opposed to unzipping the entire package into their custom folder.

Did you try pressing F10?

i was having a slightly different effect.

<include>'d said file posted on the main page.
next start the window WAS there + visible, BUT i still got the error message after every zoning that the window wont work with my UI

and the other effect is that this detrimental window has no interaction on it. cant move it, cant resize it, nothing happens on a right-klick

so i removed the <include> again and sticked with the error message popping up after every zone action

any ideas on that?

Ehm... version 9.2 includes the Detrimental Effects window, just install the update.

Also note there is a small patch 9.2.3 available in the "Add-ons" area that fixes a couple minor bugs with the Group and Guild Bank Settings windows.
