Different Chat Window question
 

Hi, I looked throughout the forum, but can't find it. Each time I log in, the first time I try to chat I get a new chat window. How do I stop adding chat windows each time I log in? I'm sure the answer is easy and I'm missing it. any help is greatly appreciated.

happens with a corrupt uisettings file. only permanent solution I know is to delete it and start over (or load the setting of an alt).

or use Landiin's UIsettingsSpy utility to delete that window from your uisettings - that might work as well.

I'm not sure that this is really a ProfitUI issue or just an interface issue in general (I think I may have had this happen before i had Profit)... I'm getting a chat window that I never had, showing up on login, floating in the middle of the screen. it has a level channel (30-39) that I havent been joined in forever)... Theres no way to close the window, short of moving it to the regular chat, then closing the tab, but then it comes back again when I restart the game. Anyone else have this issue?

Also, gm9, thanks for the wonderful work on the interface, it truly is awesome... I don't think I could play the game without it anymore.
