Station Launcher Beta

Dragowulf noticed today that the Station Launcher Beta is now available for download. This is the same patcher that was talked about at E3 May of 2006 Kudane and I video taped. I haven’t seen any other announcements about it so I assume it has just been made available.

Check it out for yourself now!

Ok, it seems like a long time, and I think they always say Soon(tm) for anything coming in the future... but May of 2006 wasn't a few years ago!

Few is just a general term one uses when they do not recall the exact number.

Sorry for making a mistake. I'm far from perfect. Could go about saying this in a nicer way don't you think?

Sorry! I was actually just joking, since I remember watching that video a long time ago and it feels like a few years to me too.

Station Launcher: Cool idea, but Xfire is almost the same thing. I'm sure the Station launcher will be more attuned towards it's own games, maybe with auto-login stuff, but I'm not sure.

Reason xfire has an edge is that is supports so many games, and a lot people already use it, have a lot of buddies, and no one likes running more client-based communication friend-related tools than needed :p (ie. AIM, YIM, Xfire, MSN)
