Thanks for nothing
Landiin,
Thank you for all your wonderful help. (sarcasm) Have you ever received an error on EQ2MAP? Probably not since you would have known that I did exactly as the directions stated. SO here they are so you will be more helpful to the next person. There were errors while trying to update EQ2MAP. If the problem persists please please post the text below and a brief description (if possible) on the forums by clicking the link below. The information from the textbox should already be copied to the clipboard, if it was not highlight the text in the box and then copy it by pressing Ctrl + C. Information to include with your post. File: map_exp02_dun_halls_of_fate_epic01_sepulcher.dds System at System.Net.ConnectStream.Read(Byte[] buffer, Int32 offset, Int32 size) at WindowsApplication7.DownloadWorker.DownloadFile()The operation has timed out. And then it gives the link to here. SO, let us review for your education. 1. Not in the instructions form the error message, but I should have, so I'll take that one. 2. Frequency, since it says to post this if the error persists I would have to assume that it is a persistent problem. 3. I have followed the directions that I was given, it said to try again and then post this. So those are my steps. 4. Once again anyone that would have anything of real use to me would know about the error message I m getting and post a real suggestion. 5. As you read my post I was updating my EQ2MAP so that is what the computer is doing. After all this all you could say is that "Trying again will more then likely solve this issue." Obviously your not educated in helping with fixes or you would have know that the error directions say "if this problem persists then post." To me this means try again or even multiple times. I have tried this about 40 times over 2 weeks. And am still getting the error. So, please, please, please, if you don't have anything real to add to the post to help someone, don't pad your numbers by scolding me for following the directions. |
