No browser buttons on my journal
 

Downloaded your ui and looks good so far, but when I open my quest journal theres no button to look up the quest using the in game browser... Do I need to unzip 1 of the files in the ui folder to do this?

PS my guildies who use this UI say they have a button that allows them to look on allak's and similar websites in thier quest journal... Am I just missing the button?

The links only show up when you move your mouse over the upper right corner of either the quest helper or the quest description in the quest journal.

No in fact my UI looks nothing like the pics posted on the forums... I dont have the info on the top of the screen and I dont see any of the links... I have re downloaded the UI and still looks the same. Not sure whats going on but I have followed all your instructions to the letter and still having problems any advice would be keen

same for me...and i had to delete profit cuz eq2maps didn't install itself into profit with the auto updater. eq2maps if more important for me. but yeah profit didnt load any of the features I installed it for..i didn't have any extra features except for resized windows. so i dont know what went wrong...i followed your instructions. they seemed simple enough.

sorry cant post a screen shot... I had to unistall the ui and go back to the stock ui.. Your UI looks real good but doesnt seem to install the same way the pics show. have tried it several times now and no dice. Will prolly try it another time

Sorry, there's no magical way we can tell you what's wrong. If you post a screenshot or give us more information we can probably help you.

Just a suggestion, maybe check the eq2.ini file to make sure it has profit as the ui set to load

Thanks ktt4510, but ProfitUI Reborn comes preconfigured with such a file, there is nothing that needs to be changed therein. Installation instructions for ProfitUI are found in the FAQ linked in my sig.

I know it comes with a eq2.ini but i was just going from my past experience, when i was first trying to use any mods it took me a bit to figure out that i had to change the .ini file, not just drag and drop as it is in WoW.

by the way this UI package is the best one i have found great work on it/
