Help!!! My character select and create screen is black except the windows!
Does this come from a UI or where do it come from?! Please help me!!! This is very annoying... :(:(:(:(

Are you using the default UI or a custom ui? What custom files?

I have this problem also.

I was using the full Profit_UI but got sick of it and deleted the directory.

Im guessing a file somewhere needs to be changed/fixed but i have no idea which is which to get everything back to defaults.

any help is greatly appreciated.

If you're not using any custom UI at all you should delete the eq2.ini file in your EQ2 directory too (unless you edited it by hand with any other special commands.)

I find it odd that a poll about expansion is in this thread.. And even odder that 3 people has voted for one that isn't released yet.. Or have I missed something in my absence from the game?

do a search of you everquest II or even your hard drive for eq2.ini with a file search tool. Then delete them all and see what happens.
