Hypothetically speaking of course...

Let's just say that someone... let's call them a friend of mine  had installed a custom UI by simply letting the UI folder OVERWRITE the EQII default UI folder.

Let's also say that this friend did not backup the UI folder prior to doing this.

Then let's say this friend was having some problems with the custom UI's hot key bars and wanted the old default UI for hot key bars back...

How might this friend go about getting the old hot key bars when the original UI folder is... uh... POOF !!

Are they perhaps up for download somewhere?

Thanks folks... er... from my friend :o

Take care.

Don't worry. Just delete the whole Default folder and run the Launchpad. It will download any missing files for you.

Actually it should automatically overwrite any replaced files whenever you run the patcher. The Default folder is checked when you run the patcher and if the files are different then they'll be replaced with the ones on the patcher.

But if what I read is correct, the OP overwrote the "UI" folder -- if you delete that entire folder and your eq2.ini file in your EQ2 folder then you will have no traces of any custom UI, you'll be completely using the default folder there.
