Cures on Group Window
 

I am unable to cure from my group window except for myself. If I click on any other group member to cure it just changes my target to whomever I was attempting to cure.

I've seen this issue mentioned in other threads, but unless I have just missed it, I've not seen any "fix" for this.

I play a defiler and usually in the main tank group so I do a lot of curing and this is making me lose my target of the main tank when attempting to cure other group members.

I've tried reinstalling, etc and I still cannot cure via group window like I used to be able to do. I'm at a lost, any suggestions would be appreciated.

try clicking two times... not too fast either.

Tried that, all it does it target that person in the group, can only cure myself by clicking on group window.

It's the "group" window that has the problem with click-to-cure, not the player window.

Still doesn't work for me, any fixes?

Hmm, thought this was working. What version of the UI are you using and what group window variant? Do you get a message in the chat window when you click the cure button? In any case you can always use the default vertical group window from 3.4.1, that one is guaranteed to work.

Ah ok, that means the buttons are somehow hidden. The code looks fine though for all I see, I guess I will have to test this. This will take a while since I currently have no time for this (I'm not even subscribed...). Please use the window from 3.4.1 in the meantime, it is still available on the download page.

I just put a few AA points to enhance my cures, and now the buttons in the group window don't work. Maybe it has something to do with that? When I click the cure button, it says "that spell or ability is no longer available".

I had this problem too after downloading 3.4.8, so I downloaded it again and did a file by file comparison. Somehow the _ProfitUI_Cures.txt file was missing from the first download when compared to my second attempt.:confused: Dunno how, maybe timing from upload of update with download to my pc, or Sony gremlins deleted it, or my dog ate it. Anyhow, after replacing the Cures text file, window now works fine...EXCEPT...now I get a message "this item is no longer in your inventory" when curing poison. I think that has to do with the window also looking for potions as well as spells. ??

You should only get that "no longer available" message when curing yourself, since that is indeed also looking for poisons (currently for everybody, even if you have the spell, eventually that will change).
