Hmm wheres my profit gone
 

not logged into eq2 for 3 days. logged in tonight and had a small download.

When i got into game i am using default ui (except stuff is where i had it in profit ui)

No drama i thought just reinstall it. So i reinstalled it exactly same i have when ever i update or need to reinstall it.

Except i am still looking at the default UI

So i mess about installing it into diff folders and checking eq2.ini path names with those of friends etc and they all seem the same.

So i delete my servername.toon ini file restart and get the option to select profit ui resolution which i do and guess what i am still looking at default ui crap.

Any idea whats gone wrong with my setup plz

do a full file scan, and check your eq2.ini file and make sure it points at the ProfitUI folder.

I had the same problem, but I found out that some of the commands in the quick raid buttons was to blame on this..

So I went over my commands and fixed the wrong ones and Profit got back as normal again :p

Yup, if you edited any of the files and you UI doesn't load afterwards, you made a mistake during editing. Not encoding a ' as ' can be a reason for that, for example.

HMM i havent messed with any of the commands

i just started up my PC after the down time i am back at default ui again even though ini points to Profit UI

I also tried using the installer prog that someone has written and followed instructions to extract yet still i get default ui even using load_uisettings grrr

Try loading the ui by /loadui
Should give you an option as to which ui to use. Had the same problem when i reloaded Profit with new raid windows. Good luck

deleted most of ui files etc ran file scan repatched redownlaoded profit again prob solved
