Need Helop with compass directions
 

Hi everyone.

I have a problem with a compass mod that shows the wrong direction. It's always 90 degrees different from which direction I'm facing.
This problem was discussed in another playce on this forum, but there was only a solution (updated file) for a different compass mod.

In particular I use the "Waterkant Compass" from here.
Newer mods work fine. Also the default.

So what I want to ask for is, could someone describe me how I can fix that in the waterkant compass?

Sorry...I've been extremely preoccupied with personal life these past few days.

At any rate, the problem as described is that your compass direction is off by 90 degrees clockwise. You can edit the eq2_mainhud_compass.xml file and change the ScrollPage Location from -213,-1 to -258,-1 for a quick fix. Someone more knowledgeable with xml editing might offer a better solution but that's what I would do as it stands.

Glad to hear that it worked for you. If I wasn't so attached to my current compass mod I'd switch to that one just for the style alone. Very nice looking. The author put some love and care into making it look oh so stylish :)
