Camera Rotate Around Your Character?

I remember the first day I played EQ2. I found out that holding right click, you could turn (just like in EQ1) and look around. I also discovered holding LEFT click and dragging, you could swivel the camera around your character, and lettting go would set it back to behind (while in 3rd person that is).

I then remember logging on the next day or so, and it wasn't functioning anymore. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I've been trying to get this to work for a while. Mostly it's helpful for taking good screenies without having to sit down and swivel the camera, or for just looking behind you.

Thanx for any help/info on this.

It's always worked for me.

Still works for me, couple things though:

1- There's an option for it under Controls > Mouse (View?) settings. Make sure it's set correctly.

2- It works while standing still or autorunning on land. If you're holding a "move forward" key or swimming, it doesn't work. (Swimming currently fixed on Test, I believe.)

Thanx for the help :) I'll give it another try, hehe.

Seems to be a wierd problem. Started playing again, and it seemed to work on my one character, but not another

*edit*

Ok, normally when you press both mouse buttons down (left + right) you walk, until you release. When I press both mouse buttons, nothing happens.

If I'm autorunning, and I click and hold left mouse to try to swivel the camera around, my character acctually runs slower.  It's very wierd, and really starting to annoy me that I can't figure it out.

Finally fixed it. After looking over all my keybinds and settings, I just decided to reset the keys, and remap them. Did that, restarted EQII, and it started functioning (again) as normal.
