Zoning Disconnect
 

Ok so my problem is this:

When i zone whether it be to my house or new lands, i freeze at the point where it says "loading ui resources" and seconds later i am brought back to the character select screen. When i try to log back in it says that i already have a toon in the world and try again later. I must restart eq to get back in the game. Anyone else having this prob? Or possible know the cause. I reinstalled eq2, profit 3.41 (also did the same with all profit ui after also) eq2map and poifinder. Any help would be much appreciated.

ah, thats the only thing i didnt figure in, just changed my router out. any ideas? ports or what?

Your best bet is to post detailed information in the EQ2 tech support forum. Zoning is almost like completely logging off and on the game so a lot of things could be going on.

There is a bug with a lot of zones that gets you stuck at loading entity resources. If it says you have a character in the world, give it a minute, and it'll let you back in :p

Same issue with losing conn and not being able to connect..
 

I'm having issues with my ISP dropping all the time, so that's not related, but when I do drop, EQ2 brings me back to the Character Select window. When here, I can't log back on with the toon I was using...it fails to connect to that toon.

I can however, log onto another toon, but the toon I was just on, won't reconnect. I have no clue, but it started happening to me after 3.4.5

I have had issues before with my ISP dropping but could always log right back on to the toon once the character select window came up.

Any ideas?
