Enable the level indicator on target selection?
When a target's name is shown over their head in the default skin for EQII their actual level is shown along side it, is there anyway I can make it like this with Fetish as well?
It's useful to me because I like to have all enemies names displayed at all times, so I can see their levels without having to select through them all. |
Change the con menthod. This can be done quickly by clicking the "C" button in the upper right corner of the target window ;)

Hmm, no that's not doing anything. Talking about the text immediately overhead the NPC. Not the actual target window. Just want their level displayed next to their name. When I switch to the default skin, it's there...

Yes, that is what Zonx means. Try clicking his button again. If that does not work, you can also change it manually via /con_version 1 or by selecting simple con mode (or was it advanced?) in the options.

Hmm, I'm not sure what is wrong then, tried it in both simple and advanced mode, the level just wont show up above their head...

Make sure that you have the target info options set to Always.

Hmmm. I thought the /con command (and the 'C' command) affected the format of the target window - the actual window contents - and not what was displayed above the mob's head (its name, health/pow bars, maybe a guild).
FYI: I don't think I have ever seen the mob's actual numerical level displayed above its head. Of course, I use the default UI only when a gun is being pointed at my head. EDIT: Damn. The toggle DOES make the level number appear above the mob's head. You (re-)learn something every day! |
Well I only used the default skin for a little while, and about the only thing I like about it is the little level above their head :P

Toggling the button in the target window from advanced to simple con makes the floating level number appear and disappear in this mod. (Just tested it after a clean install.)
