Chat window probs.

first off awsome mod. just a small question.

I have a Main chat window with everything on it and then tabs with copys of the chat i.e. just guild, just tells, just group...

As long as i dont alter these tabs and /load_uisettings from toons with them set correctly they work.

After updating recently if i try to alter these tabs it refuses to allow tells/group/guild etc. chat on both my main chat window and the tabs attached.
This cause's all the "duplicate chat" to reset so they are only on 1 tab.

Wondering if anyone has any idea how to fix this?

I seam to remember a command u could add to a config file but cant for the life of me remember what or where.

I think the command is /chat_allowduplicatechannels 1 or you can put chat_allowduplicatechannels 1 into your eq2.ini file.

Right, open your eq2.ini, located this line:

and remove the "#" before the command as explained at the beginning of the file.

cant split chats into 2 windows either
 

After loading the updated UI I had to go into windows settings and change it from frame and title to none. Before that I couldn't chat at all. Now when I try to make 2 chat windows (1 general and 1 just guild) I can"t.

I went into the ini file and removed the #, but I still can't get 2 chat windows to work

ok, I found this thread and following these instructions for each toon got multiple chat windows to work. Seems silly but it fixes the issue.
