The forum message about the most common errors says that this is probably due to our firewalls not being set up properly, but it doesn't provide any information on what we should do to fix the problem. In my case I'm using the Norton Internet Security firewall, and need the IP address to set up the trust, but I can't find that. I tried doing a ping on the mapps.eq2.interface address built into the autoupdater and timed out, so either that address is out of date or there is some other problem. Kind of dumb of Norton not to let you type in a URL, now I have to trust that who ever answers this message is giving me a good address, because when I use whatever they give me, I'll be opening my machine to whatever computer is at the other end of the IP address I use. Dang!
