why does god hate me?
ok, where do I begin?
i made a folder called myui. i took all the download and unzipped them into that folder. i then copied the folder and pasted it into c:\programs\sony\everqest2\ui after that i made a file on the desktop, named it eq2.ini and put the following contents. cl_ui_subdir UI/ cl_ui_skinname myui i started the game and nothing. so i thought maybe i did the ini wrong. so i flipped it, still nothing. i saved the ini in. C:\programs\sony\everquest2 is this correct? |
Would be helpful to know what UI you are trying to install, but in principle what you write is correct. And don't question your god. :p
|
Did you make sure to enable viewing of file extensions. A lot of times when you create the eq2.ini it is really eq2.ini.txt
After enabling the file extension just delete the .txt and you should be all set. |
yeah i am sure i enabled it.
Ui i am trying to put in are, eq2 map eq2 poi finder sage's ultimate bag mother's group window mook 3/4 hotbar advanced inventory persona window mother's player window incubi transparent raid window mothers targeting |
Make sure you don't have sub-folders under the myui folder with the name of the zip files from when you extracted them. The XML files should show up in the root of myui folder.
|
this may be silly.. but perhaps c:\program files\ instead of c:\programs\ ? unless you installed eq2 to a different path?
ps: god? don't you mean gods? |
