Uninstalling EQ2MAP
 

Sorry for the lunkheaded newbie question, but here goes:

How do I uninstall EQ2map? The uninstall option in Add/remove progs seems to remove the app, but the addon still seems to be there when I log in. Which files in the Everquest 2 folder do I need to delete to remove this? I have no other addons/custom UIs. As you can probably tell, I'm completely new to EQ2, and so any help would be appreciated. Apologies if this question has already been asked; a search didn't find what I was looking for.

If you know where EverQuest II is installed its fairly simple.

In the EverQuest II folder is another folder named UI, go into the UI folder and either rename or delete the eq2map folder.

And delete the file named eq2.ini from your everquest2 folder

Thanks for the answers guys, appreciated =) While I'm here and asking silly newbie questions: after venturing out of Darklight Woods I found that the map was black and only 'cleared' as I explored (fog of war). Does EQ2Maps have a way of removing this, or is the only way by exploration? The 'hide fog' button doesn't seem to do anything.
