Help me change map window please!
 

I downloaded profitUI. Used to have thorUI. I have been using eq2maps all the time. Problem now is that my map window has changed, it looks like an old piece of paper and then the maps themselves works perfectly. I try to change the window frame to include buttons and loc box etc, but it dosnt work. Either it becomes all black and still seeing the maps.

I tried to copy thorui map files, but then the window was perfect but then the maps themselves was just all white.

Please, i need to know wich xml files draws the map window so i can change it. Without my locbox and map utils the game is unplayable for me.

I've actually got the same problem. I rebuilt my harddrive and had to reload everything. I use ProfitUI as well and now my maps show up without the surround area that includes the location information, etc. The window size is correct (mousing over the area indicates the window is larger than the map that is shown), however, the area outside the actual map is transparent. Window Settings is no help as all the bars are set to full opaque.

I've reloaded EQ2Maps twice now from scratch to fix the issue with no luck. It was working fine last week before my rebuild. <sigh>

Can you post a screen shot of what your map looks like?

I had this problem when I tried using the EQ2MAPS Autoupdate Version. I used it first without installing the Manual EQ2MAPS. I downloaded the Manual one and copied the contents of the folders to where they should go and everything then worked as it should.

I also noticed that if you use the "Re-download" function of the updater it will return to not having borders or buttons, and you will have to dump the "Manual" files back in there.

yep. I had just found the thread in the troublshooting section and installed the recommended file. It fixed the issue and I was coming back to this thread to update that fact. You are quick. :)
