Buff Window

As a Mystic, my biggest complaint is trying to monitor combat buffs/debuffs (ward, DoT, & etc.) during the heat of battle. This is especially difficult while in a group with 4 or 5 other players who have also applied spells.

Maybe I'm missing something but what I would like to see is a window that would show just my spells. Is this possible?

you mean the maintained buff window. press alt+m in game..

Thank you. It seemed I had a second spell window at one time. Guess that was it.

Along those lines, you can only see 12 maintained spells.

I tried re-working the .xml for it, and either I don't know what I am doing or EQ2 doesn't provide more than 12 to the client. Copied the existing 12 lines, reworked the number methods so they would be frame #s 13-24, and added 32 to each placement.. but still couldn't get it working. *sigh*

My biggest complaint is once you get group buffs up, target timed durations (abominus, sow, etc) I can't see if my dots/debuffs are sticking on the mobs. I use up the twelve spots rather quickly, could use like 24 or possibly even 32.

Am I just doing something wrong, or does the game not provide more than 12 to work with?

I have the same issue as a Coercer and have tried similar things to you balir.

I edited both eq2ui_gamedata.xml and eq2ui_mainhud_maintained.xml and put them in my custom UI directory and made a total of 20 slots, just to test. No joy. I've trawled through a lot of the files in the default directory but haven't found anything else related to maintained spells.

Does anyone know of anywhere else to look or does the client just not give the UI the information it needs?
