Top bar stops half way...

I've installed ProfitUI Reborn and really like it. It usually works well, but now I've started creating other characters and have had this problem occur twice now.

The top bar of ProfitUI Reborn stops half way across my screen. I've deleted the user.ini.settings page several times. No success yet. I use 1600x1200 (I think lol)

Five characters, two of whom have this problem.

Any ideas? Seeing as it's not across the crew, I'm slightly puzzled.

Thanks.

Do you start out by loading one of the Profit default layouts? There isn't really any top bar. On the top of the screen should be the XP window, the target window, the compass window, the implied target window, and the active quest window.

I'm new to ProfitReborn UI and have no clue where any of these things are found. If you'd be so kind as to point me in the direction, it would be appreciated.

I've been playing EQ2 for a week or so now and having fun. The default UI needed some more info, research let to this UI.

Thanks so much.

And yes, I do have a top abr lol

Ah, ok. In your Everquest II folder each character has a settings file like server_character_eq2_uisettings.ini. This file stores the position of every UI window and all the chat channels for that character. When you make a new character the game should ask you to load a previous character's settings. It may not these days, but it used to. Otherwise you can load another character's settings at any time with the /load_uisettings command.

Following the installation instructions-- you can load any of the preset layouts for Profit, like ProfitUI_1280x1024_eq2_uisettings.ini etc. This will put the windows in the normal positions.

Thank you.

With the magic of /load_uisettings and choosing one of my good characters, all was corrected.

Yay!
