Chat Filter
 

Dear Developers,

First of all thanks for all your efforts so far, I've been enjoying these interfaces since launch, and they still rock!

I would like to request a chat filter, mainly to prevent platfarmer spams. Maybe its possible to filter text against a word or something, or make it the same color against similar color background or whatever... but I want to get rid of it.

Sadly this can't be done through UI mods..

If it could be done, I'm sure it would very shortly become the most popular UI mod since the dawn of time. :p

just use /anon and ppl will stop spamming your chat with plat sales.

Yes this is a good idea except I have noticed these perps log off quickly. /report them and hopefully the account gets baned so they cant keep deleting and creating new characters.

Just remember that everytime you /report <playername> you must also /petition or else nothing will happen and the /report goes unread.

I read on the official forums that "/report Character short note" will work, rather than having to go through the /petition process. My /reports usually consist of "/report Character plat seller." From my understanding, it will get the point across. :)

If that doesn't actually work, then oh well...I get several plat /tells a night, and if I /petitioned every one of them, it would cut a chunk out of my gameplay that I'm not usually willing to sacrifice.
