Are you using the current version 3.4?

Skuall 05-23-2007 02:50 PM

ehm no but the lfg is a new file =/ i will download new version

Just to give you some insight Skuall...

Code has to be added to the eq2ui_mainhud.xml for most new windows. So if you have an interface that modifies that file you'll need to update it when new windows are added.

thx guys now working ^^

my pain is that i mix a lot of custom uis...pet bar , casting bar, group members , quest journal ect ect , and try to avoid updates to just select save copy , since just installing profit will overwrite all the others uis =/

new lfg toos is amazing ^^ eq1 style :D

In your custom UI folder find the file named eq2ui_mainhud.xml and open it in windows notepad.

Once you have the file open in notepad scroll down to the bottom where you see the code...

Code:

</Page>
Directly above that line insert two new lines and add this...

Code:

<include>eq2ui_mainhud_guildcreation.xml</include>
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_lfg.xml</include>

Save the file and load up EQ2 and see if you get the new LFG window.

I'll just assume what Othesus asked is the reason. mac1eod, you are supposed to extract the zip in your \Everquest II folder. If you correctly installed version 3.4 or version 3.4.1 you do not need to do what Dolby suggested.

mac1eod 05-23-2007 08:57 PM

how can you check to see what version you are running so i know i did it right?
