I have been trying to figure out this thing all day.. i installed the the newest version of profit into my directory and it has the eq2.ini thing in it too. Ok so then I start the game and the UI still looks the same. So i do /load_uisettings and pull that up.. all I see are UI's for my other characters and none of them have profit on them. Any suggestions?

be sure you have deleted your old {server}.{character}_eq2_uisettings.ini files -- at least one as a test.

be sure the ProfitUI folder is inside the \Everquest II\UI\ folder - should be listed along with the default ui folder

be sure the ProfitUI folder in NOT inside of another folder, like Everquest II\
UI\UI\ProfitUI

be sure the eq2.ini is inside the \Everquest II main folder

open the eq2.ini file using Notepad and make sure the first 2 lines say this:
cl_ui_skinname ProfitUI
cl_ui_subdir UI/

Tried that, no luck. Every help thread says something different than the last one. I did the /load_uisettings and all that comes up are UI's from my other characters and nothing that says ProfitUI...

You installed in the wrong folder. Follow the installation instructions in my FAQ (link in my sig) to the word and it will work.
