Need Help w/ eq2 maps and profit UI
 

I have installed eq2 maps a few times and it goes through the downloading process but the maps will not come up in game. I am still receiving the same maps as before. I realize that I should be dloading the maps into my profitUI directory, but for some reason it will not allow me to change the directory in options. I can not type in it or paste the correct directory. Please help me with this problem if you can.

The UI path is what's read from you eq2.ini file in the root install path of EQ2. This set's the games UI as well as the path for EQ2Maps. If this isn't done you shouldn't have even loaded ProfitUI as if it's not there I'm not sure where else you can specify the UI path.

Did you hit the `Options` button and ensure the correct paths for the EQ2.exe and the EQ2 Install path were set?

I have looked under options and it has the correct path for EQ2, but I was assuming that with my Profit UI I needed it to download the map files under that directory. This is where I run into a problem because it will not allow me to change the directory for some reason. Any suggestions?

In the Options window the Everquest 2 directory is where your game is. There's a dropdown menu near the bottom of the Options window that says UI Directory. That dropdown should say ProfitUI.

I use this thread for a similar Problem. I want to use the Profit UI excluding the map. I would like to use the standard map with map tool. Or is there a posibility to add a display for the coordinates to the profit UI. Need them for questing.

please help me same problem i installed eq2 map perfectly, after updating and stuff, i opened eq2 by eq2 maps, then when the maps in game were still the same! whats wrong??!
