One mod I miss from Warcraft...
The only thing I miss from World of Warcraft was their Atlas mod. This in-game mod functioned similar to EQ2MAP, with a few added pieces of functionality I'm sure some of our illustrious mod authors could translate.
In Atlas, you could select a dungeon (from anywhere, actually - it just displayed .targa maps in game without X,Y player location dots) and see the layout of the dungeon, boss locations, and (most importantly)...loot tables. It would be nice, in EQ2, to pull up a map of an instance (let's say Obelisk of Blight) and see where all the named are and what their appropriate Fabled, Legendary, and mob-specific Treasured drops are. Especially for those times when for the life of you - you can't remember which mob drops what you want. EDIT: This could be designed as a hybrid of EQ2MAP and EQ2iDB, if anyone can step up to the challenge. |
At least Fetish Nightfall has that functionality if I'm not mistaken.

Not Quite !!
It's a good request though ..
Been looking for something like that but havent really found it .. There is the minimap mod but it doesnt show the POI's of the zone youre looking at . Thats the feature im looking for myself .. But offcourse that might not be what the original question was about  Yours Brorim |
Well, with the browser, you can effectively do all that. It's not all on one web page though.
