Style editing of Eq2 mainhud map?
 

Hey guys.
Im working on a ui overhaul and im trying to edit the general layout of the eq2map window. however. i find that the buttons and general layout of window wont change. i can move the close button around. but not the lower tab pane at all. i can make it look perfect in UI builder. but as soon as its in game. its the same button placement as before.

ive searched trhough forums and im still searching havent found anything yet though.

is there a particular reason that the general window layout isnt moddable?

secondly. is there ever a chance of getting eq2map Window Resize support?

This is merely a wild stab in the dark (with the business end of a spoon to make sure no 'accidents' happen,even :p)....

Could it be because the file you modify is returned to its original state after running the EQ2Map updater (assuming, of course, you are even doing this)?

You can't mod eq2_mainhud_map.xml the updater witll overrite it evertime. You have to mod the files skinnable_*.*
