Finally I present the Arcane Group Window.

I had some problems with the locations of things due to this window being so compact but finally I managed to get it all to work.

This MOD has all the features of of the standard Group just much smaller. The mana bar is a little hard to see cause the HP colors are hard coded. I look at the HP more than the Power of my group members. Thats what /g OOM is for. I can maybe do the bars 1/2 hp 1/2 mana but I like it like this.

Give me your opinions and I'll see what I can do to update it.

This is a generic preview from UI builder.
The 4 spell effects are put over the HP bar with 25% opacity

This is a version I may convert to a thin horizontal bar with no orb.

This is the released version that matches the Player Window.

I'm gonna take a vote. Tell me which one you like more and that is the 1 I will release and update.

1. like the design, that main focus image looks alot like one of the images i remember form a UI in EQL for the casting timer. nice use of it in this layout.

2. What are all the key icons in the first image along the left?

3. Give me 6 bars. As a primary Cleric i need to see all 6 life bars near each other. not just the other group memebers.

4. downloading it now. but i don't feel like installing it atm i'm grinding out ink :mad:

The grafx are Kuvasie /T.King.

My Arcane Player Window has the 6th bar + all the other cool stuff....Check it out.

The little icons to the left are the LFG/Find buttons. Since these are hard coded to be inside each group member window I just put them where there easy to see.

Keep the ideas comming. If you really need I can add the 6th bar but check out the matching player window.

I'd like to see the 50/50 health/power bar split. I don't like relying on others to let me know when they're out of power if the game lets me see it for myself.

I don't want two windows. i want one. i love this design though.

What i would like to see out of your Player and Group windows..

1. single window in this format with all 6 player life bars.
2. split the life bar 50/50 (horizonatally) and add mana bar on the bottom half.
3. Make the bubble fill from Full to Empty with spell cast timer to replace the pop up spell casting bar.
4. leave my name on my life bubble and let it flash like default when attacking.

just my ideas and thoughts. take them as you will :)

I'll try to get to making customizations soon. I wanna get all the pieces released and im working on an animated chat window. The target bar should be done soon HOTT ready. Look for it.

hihi ok i have a wee bit of a problem..i downloaded the Arcane Group Window and when i logged into game it shows only a white image what or how can i fix this plz i love the way the group window looks and would very much be a happy mouse if i can get it to look right :P

I come to find that this is caused by the image being in the wrong folder. Make sure that u have the folders like this...."ArcaneGW" inside that "Images"....inside that "Arcane"...and the .dds grafx file in there.

C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\ArcaneGW\images\Arcane

:eek: :confused: :eek: i done everything you said its still white im going crazy i been trying to fix this all day or at least understand it....i have a folder that has other ui's that i downloaded and work great and im sure yours will to if i can figure it out, do i add the things from your folders into the folder i already have? cuz i tried that to and as far as the eq2.ini goes i done a new text document and saved it as eq2.ini and inside i have this ...

Inside this folder meow....you will need my xml files...then a folder called images....inside that folder a folder called arcane...and in there should be a .dds file...Tell me what that file is

In the folder Arcane there are 2 files one is bars.dds and the other is orb.dds

:nana: ok im a happy mouse , for some reason when i logged into game this morning after update it was all working fine ...and i must say ..ITS SO KEWL i love it :)

I am incredibely torn! :(

I Love the mod, however, my main is a healer. When a spell effect shows up on any of the group members, it is pretty much impossible to see their health, even with the transparency. I had a moment of panic in the first fight after i loaded the mod.

Great Mod! Bad for healers! ;)
