EQ2MAP not working (but no error messages?)
 

Heya guys :)

Hope someone can shed some light on this, I had everything running fine on Vista, but EQ2 was being a bit tempremental so I did a clean install of it, followed by a clean install of eq2 map auto updater.

Running the updater works fine, logs me into EQ2 but the maps arn't showing up, as if eq2map isn't running at all.

Tried un-installing/re-installing eq2map but still nothing.

Anyone?

I am having the exact same problem. I stopped playing eq2 for a few month and now that i came back i installed th latest eq2map but the original map is the only one that shows. All of my other UI tweaks show up but the map never shows the real eq2map. If anyone has any suggestions we both would appreciate it.

I assume your using the updater version. Make sure your path is set correctly under the options button. If you recently installed a new expansion a lot of times if you dont pay attention where it installs it you can have 2 EQ2 folders and EQ2Map could be set to use the old install of EQ2.

I've re-checked all of the directories and haven't installed any new packs. I'm using the updater now but tried the manual install before and still the same results. Not sure of what to try next.

Well, I got it working.. I had to delete my custom UI directory and recreate a whole new one. I just recopied the Default and reinstalled all of my tweaks including EQ2Map. Maybe, some of the current updates replaced one too many files that I hadn't changed in a while.
