Upload UI Settings not showing?
 

Ok. Well i just made a new charecter. And everything was working fine the profit ui hotbars and such were on. But when i went in the zone and expected to see the "Load UI settings" i didnt see it. So i went back. Deleted the charecter UI File and tried again. Didnt work. I tryed leveling up and such and getting to qeynos. And it still hasnt worked. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I suggest use the "/load_uisettings" command. I could be you have to open a new chat window, to be able to type (right click the chat window and create new chat window, there you can type)

I too have seen this and can confirm it. I removed some of my characters INI files then logged them on expecting to see the choose character to copy from window but nothing.

As “Cybernetix” suggested you can use the /load_uisettings command to get the window. You can either open a new chat window to type in or change the window settings of the default one to I think it was “Frame Only” then it too will be useable.

As Cybernetix and Zyther both said above, you need to use /load_uisettings. ;)

It appears GU32 broke the automatic popup window you used to get.

Missing pop-up ... for now ;-)
 

Yes, I missed the pop-up load settings window, but I am confident that you will find find some way to fix it - you seem to have fixed everything else!

If not, no big deal, the /load_uisettings command works, but I have also found that after moving all of my character.ini files out of the directory, I just make one copy of the 1680x1050 file, rename it using one of my old character.ini files, log in, do my tweaking then log back out. Now I have a configured character.ini file that I can make a bunch of copies of, and then rename. It actually takes longer to describe than it does to do it! lol

Again, I'd thank you for keeping the profit ui alive, but by now it's more your work than anyone else's. Thanks for getting out the update so quickly.

A japanese friend mentioned that I have to find the video setting file that profitUI installs and rename it as a "region_charactername_eq2_uisettings". Is this a final step to get the UI to work after the initial install?

What do I do with the original region_charactername_eq2_uisetting files for all my characters? Delete, move, leave alone?

I would try this except when I hit Enter I am not able to type. I see the little Speech Bubble in my text field for a split second but it doesn't stay and I'm not able to chat.

Rollins6020....Try this...right click on your chat window and open a new chat window, that sometimes fixes it so you can type in the new window.

Hey Nikken funny you mentioned that because I tried it and it worked, but it had totally slipped my mind that there was a /load_uisettings command.

So when I came back to this it jogged my memory, i tried the command and it worked.
