Quest Helper?
 

First off I love the UI... LOVE IT!!!

I have looked around but not sure if i have found what i needed, I dont like the quest helper the way it is i dont use any of the addition scrolling through quests or last updated quests. I have all that bloacked out but that forces me to have 2 lines worth of blank space above it and i cant move the box any further. Is there a way to just revert to the default quest helper? which file in the fetish directory do i need to delete?

I can't remember the correct file name, but it should have 'quest_helper' in it. Maybe perhaps eq2ui_mainhud_quest_helper.ini?

You want to remove: eq2ui_journals_active.xml

I fact, here is what what you should do: :D

cp _simple_eq2ui_journals_active.xml eq2ui_journals_active.xml


If you search for *journals_active*, you will see there are some additional files supplied, for different versions of the window.

by doing what you said what exactly does that do?

Actually, you would need to remove the eq2ui_journals_active.xml then rename the _simple_eq2ui_journals_active.xml to eq2ui_journals_active.xml

This will give you the Fetish sytle Quest Helper without the Slider or the Reset Button. I'm not sure if it removes the drop down menu so you would have to experiment. My guess is that the drop down would still be there.

Without the added features the process above would be the same as simply removing the eq2ui_journals_active.xml without the need to copy, paste or rename anything.
