Casting orb drivng me nuts!
 

For as long as I can remember I have used Sorakui's for my casting animation. and well due to a small problem I lost it so I redownloaded it and installed per instructions but NOW when I cast I get a big white box behind the pretty orb instead of the transparent appearance it's suposed to give me. this is highly irritating and I have checked and double checked and checked again and cannot figure out WHY it's doin that.

could someone help PLEASE? I hate that goofey ........... they use for casting but the white box is rather distracting. :(

The image it's using has been placed incorrectly, so when it looks for it it can't find it and gives you a blank white box.

Try moving it to/from the Images subfolder.

Ok even though there is nothing about it in the install zip that came with the orb I found a simalar one and it has one listed as Arcane within the images folder and THAT is where I placed the image file...I am hoping that does it.

SOE changed coding on how images are handled back when EoF was released.

This "broke" the casting orb causing the white box you are seeing.

I did a quick fix to the one I offer in the thorui that resolves the white box.

I'll attach my version for you here.

unzip the dds image and place in the images folder.

Let me know if you need anything else.
