minimap doesnt work...
 

...is there any way to get, for example talyn's minimap to start working again?

or make something completely diff as a minimap?

Have you looked at Zonx's Fetish mod for the maps. Its awesome and still works since he is great about updating.

Indeed, Zonx has a nice minimap with his set.

I've also got Talyns's Minimap as part of the Mook skin for EQ2MAP. ( http://www.eq2interface.com/download...fo.php?id=3498 ) Unfortunately it doesn't display dynamic locations (player & group icons) properly anymore, and I can't fix it.

The talyn's minimap has been broke awhile. It was because the plugin system was broke but seeing as the updates were finally incorperated a while back. I will see about fixing it.

Deathbane: that can be fixed. When they added groupmember dots they moved the player arrow to a page with those dots. The minimap has to be updated to move that page when shrinking or expanding. Or using the arrows that adjust what section of the map is displayed.

But anyway I will see about fixing my Minimap mod :)

About a year ago, you uploaded (for testing purposes) some updated minimap files on the main minimap discussion thread. I grabbed them at the time, and have been using them ever since without any trouble at all. To this day, they work fine.

I did as well a long time ago before i reformatted. Well, he updated it already to thx talyn. Now im pretty much done w/ the standalone minimap version i just need to fix a few things and im done.
