Error
I'm getting the following error
Unknown Error: mscorlib at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String str) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, Boolean useAsync, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode) at WindowsApplication7.Form1.GetFileMD5(String FilePath) at WindowsApplication7.Form1.DownloadExtras() at WindowsApplication7.Form1.DoUpdates() at WindowsApplication7.Form1.Timer3_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr idEvent, IntPtr dwTime)Access to the path "C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\eXtreme\eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml" is denied. This is from the auto updater eqmap after having extremes auto function stall. |
Are you trying to run EQ2MAP while you either have EQ2 running or are accessing some of the UI files in any other way?
|
Not to my knowledge, I can start the updater from a reboot and get the same problem.
|
me too
I'm also getting this error. Did you find an fix for this?
|
Yes, check the properties of eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml, mine was read only for some reason.

MScorlib error
I had the mscorlib error as well with the last line of error stating could not access XYZ.map file. Thanks Oakling for bringing up the read only attribute. Makes sense that if a map could not be over written that read only protection is enabled. All files in my custom UI were defaulted to read only.
