Crash when trying to group, help!
Hey guys,
I recently downloaded Profit and I love it. Tonight I suddenly got troubles with grouping. I tried restarting etc. Everytime I invite and someone accepts invite or vise versa I crash. I haven't changed anything, it came out of the blue. Any ideas? Thanks! |
me too... sucks cuz I love this UI
|
Yep, me too. Haven't changed anything, otehr computer using the same mods is fine. Any ideas?

Oookay, now I started crashing for no reason as well, wth is happening,
starting to get a wee bit frustrated here. Had to go back to using default. Please help/ fix/ work miracles :) |
Crashing as in the game gives you an error? Or does the game just close?
If it's the latter, delete your server_char_eq2_uisettings.ini This happened to me, when I was running two instances at once to transfer stuff then the game got an error and crashed. When I logged back in everytime I'd try to zone on one character the game would just close no message/error. The uisettings file gets corrupted somehow. |
Thanks Q, you are a life saver, I swear I was going nuts!
It was the latter, just simple closed game down. I deleted that file and also re- installed the Profit UI. Seems to work, crossing fingers! ETA: BAH, game still closing :( :( :( UPDATE: I did as: As someone posted on EQ2 forums and after 2 hours of play it seems to have worked... /cast ward against jinx Basicly I deleted all server_char_eq2_uisettings.ini. for me it's just zone to character select.
Already delted ini file and redid my entire ui. |
Need to delete the Server_Character_UISettings (for the toon you are having issues with) and then log back in to that toon, selecting a known working UI formation and then the problem will be solved until it happens again
|
It's been happening across the board, reguardless of UI.
See here Todays patch should hopefully have fixed it cos it's bloody annoying |
